Prevent Stroke with Apples and Pears

Not just any fruit, eat fruit and vegetables that white fleshy known to protect us from strokes, according to a recent study. Well, for example two pieces of white meat most often and easily we find that apples and pears.


Studies conducted at Wageningen University in the Netherlands looked at the relationship between food consumption and stroke colors on 20,069 old free of heart disease and the mean age was 41 years. This study found that the risk of stroke 52 percent lower for people with a high intake of fruit and vegetables a white fleshy. Each 25 gram increase in daily consumption of fruits and vegetables is associated with a white fleshy 9 percent lower risk of stroke.

Apples and pears are high in fiber and a white fleshy pigment called quercetin. The other white meat diet in this study include bananas, cauliflower, chicory, and cucumbers.

"To protect themselves from stroke, it helps us increase the consumption of large amounts of white fleshy fruits and vegetables," said lead researcher Linda M Oude Griep as quoted from Yahoo.

"Eat the apples a day is an easy way to increase fruit and vegetable intake of white meat."
